Tonya (Tami) Daniel is a Research Validation Specialist at Rush University Medical Center. She started her career in Sept 2000 under the direction of the late Dr. Harvey D. Priesler. Tami has 23 years of experience in Hematology/Oncology clinical research. Tami specializes in administration for comprehensive Hematology/Oncology research programs and regulatory documentation.

In Sept. 2017, Tami was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. She went through chemotherapy and radiation. She is proud to say that she is a 5 year breast cancer survivor! Today, Tami uses her passion, positive attitude, and tireless energy to encourage other women diagnosed with breast cancer. Tami currently uses social media to educate the public on the importance of early detection, mammograms and self-exams. She knows that these are important keys to a healthy lifestyle. In her free time, Tami loves to read, garden, travel and spend time with her family.
